Start Your Naturopathic Wellness Journey with Us
We are proud to offer high-quality, personalized virtual Naturopathic Medicine to all patients in Ontario. We are committed to walking alongside you, providing you with the support and expertise you are looking for in a practitioner.
What You Can Expect
-
First Steps
As a new patient you will first need to book a date and time for your initial visit. This visit is up to 80 minutes in length and is conducted virtually.
Next you will need to complete the intake forms - they are designed to collect your past medical history, current symptoms, and health & wellness goals. You may also forward any current bloodwork.
-
The Initial Visit & Mapping Out a Program
During this visit your Naturopathic Doctor takes a complete health history. We delve deep covering all of your symptoms, goals, health history, and any recent bloodwork you may already have. Naturopathic Doctors are trained to provide a holistic assessment of your health and we utilize modern functional testing methods alongside conventional blood work to uncover the root causes affecting your health. During this visit we will set goals and initiate treatments to get you started on your journey.
Please note that patients are required to be located in Ontario at the time of the scheduled appointment.
-
Your Second Visit
Prior to your second visit your Naturopathic Doctor will have reviewed your case once again along with any new lab results. Where the initial visit has laid the groundwork, the second visit serves for us to start building. A step-by-step plan will be discussed and may include nutritional counselling and meal planning to treat/prevent deficiencies, evidence-based herb or supplement recommendations to address hormones, digestion, etc. as well as lifestyle wellness recommendations.
-
Meaningful Outcomes
Getting well sooner is something we all strive for. It is important to keep in mind that health is multifaceted, and each person is unique. Your progress depends on your specific concerns and how long you have been experiencing them, as well as what changes you are able to incorporate between visits. Taking action and continuous revision are both necessary.
Follow-up visits serve to move you through a treatment plan strategically, so that we are progressively addressing all the factors affecting you. Building better health requires team effort and good communication, so patients are encouraged to keep track of their progress and provide an update for each follow-up visit.
-
